Proclamation
The mission of the music program at St Paul's is to proclaim the Word of God through music.
We do this by:

leading and enabling our diverse congregations in corporate worship |

offering music on behalf of the worshiping community of St Paul's |
|
reaching outside the walls of St Paul's for participants and audiences |
Community
Central to this mission of proclamation is the life of community: informed and invested musicians whose purpose it is to welcome new members and provide the creative environment in which young people are able to flourish musically and spiritually.
Service
The mark of our musical community is service: musicians as ministers of the church, serving others through music and action. This is summed up in the words of the Chorister's Prayer:
Bless, O Lord, us Thy
servants,
who minister in Thy temple.
Grant that what we sing with our lips,
we may believe in our hearts,
and what we believe in our hearts,
we may show forth in our lives.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
