Washington DC, 2003
In May 2003 the Choir of Men and Boys together with the St Cecilia Choir of Girls took part in a tour to Washington DC, singing services and concerts in various venues around the capital, culminating with a service of choral evensong at the National Cathedral. This atmospheric setting witnessed the world première performance of Robert Powell's Washington Service, specially commissioned by the American School of Church Music.
